Child and Family Therapy

What is Therapy for Children and Teens?

Children and teens nowadays face many internal and external challenges as they grow and advance across different developmental stages, settings, parental relationships, locations, and now, the pandemic. Many children and teens adapt well, while others need more tools and guidance. Therapy provides children and teens a safe space to navigate these challenges, identify and express their emotions in healthy ways, build social skills, and build resiliency for their future life. During our past 10 years of working with children and teens in the Silicone Valley, we have worked with children and teens struggling with the following concerns:

  • Acting out
